2B Creative began with a name — Barrett Baker (hence, the 2B part).

The idea of becoming a freelance writer didn’t occur to me until I was interviewing for a position with an ad agency in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1990. The recruiter I met with suggested it would be a great way to build experience and a diverse portfolio. So I swam with it!

Since then, I’ve worked with such clients as the U.S. Department of Energy, General Motors, ACDelco, Kmart, Ford Motor Company, Owens Corning, Terminix International, as well as a host of smaller companies.
